About the Role

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for managing, planning, scheduling, and coordinating all Manufacturing and Facilities Maintenance activities in support of producing Solid Dose and Liquid Pharmaceuticals in accordance with the polices, procedures and required guidelines set forth by the company in compliance with cGMPs, Health and Safety Standards.

Position Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manages Manufacturing and Facilities Maintenance activities to ensure efficient manufacturing and packaging of liquid and solid dose products while complying with cGMPs , company performance and quality standards.
  • Manages a large group of employees. Responsible for creating an environment in which each employees talents and capabilities are fully developed and utilized that emphasizes quality, safety, training, communication, participation, and motivation that encourages personal growth and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations for product quality, environmental and employee safety. Interact with internal and external auditors to define existing practice and implement required changes.
  • Solicit the assistance and coordinate the activities of support groups to accomplish projects that deal with production scheduling, material planning, troubleshooting, product quality, cost reduction and acquiring new processes, equipment, and facilities. Directs and coordinates the activities of outside contractors
  • Responsible for administering department training standards that assure understanding and utilization of skills based, cGMP, and safety training.
  • Define and implement with appropriate support functions, initiatives to improve productivity and efficiency while reducing costs and waste in the manufacturing process.
  • Performs other duties as assigned or requested.

About You

  • Bachelors degree with 5-7 years of relevant experience. 
  • Previous managerial experience with demonstrated leadership abilities and excellent interpersonal skills. 
  • Must have the ability to manage multiple projects within a fast-paced environment with excellent organization and follow through skills. 
  • Must have the ability to apply reasoning skills to carry out detailed instructions. 
  • Must be familiar with using CMMS systems to improve maintenance process and procedures. 
  • Must understand how to implement continuous improvement and culture changing programs. 
  • Must have the ability to occasionally travel for business related needs.
